The general story of my music video sees artist Dr. Syntax going through an array of different "subcultures" trying to become friends with them but finding problems with all of them. The intro of the video shows Syntax in some of his day to day settings such as in his house but then when the lyrics start it shows him with the people he's meeting. He starts off meeting people down his local pub but it doesn't work out as he doesn't know cars and can't throw darts. He then tries to be friends with a gang of vagabonds but that doesn't work out as he got nervous trying to rob purses. He then spends some times with some hippies where he's passing the biggest pipe he's ever seen, but then they get angry with him when he finishes all their weed. He then tried to be friends with some garage ravers but left them as they were never in a happy mood. He then tried to be friends with some hip-hop heads on the internet but left them after they were arguing about who they thought was better. Syntax then tried to be friends with some indie kids, but left them as they pretended they didn't have a penny when they were clearly privileged. After this he meets some artistic people, but leaves them soon after as they were no good at art. He then meets some footy hooligans, but leaves them after he tells them he supports no one and they break his nose. He then meets some girls that looked like barbie dolls but leaves them after they treat him with disrespect. Finally he meets a couple into s&m but leaves them after they wanted him to be their "special friend". The video then finishes the way it started with Syntax in his day to day settings and he raps his final verse.
